Lentil Curry

Lentils are real comfort food. I love to eat lentils with breads such as Somali muufo or pita bread. Use lentils that hold their shape such as the brown or green varieties.

This lentil curry will take about 20 minutes to get on the table! A great advantage for many of us who are time poor but still want healthy and nutritious food that can be prepared quickly.

Wow, this is a super nice, tangy dish, and very very quick to make – works well with tinned lentils too. Similar to some of the good variations of Ful Medames. Thumbs up from me!
